I was naturally very skeptical of this update, I'm very critical of any supposed extension of the Urantia Papers because I know there have been those who use the UB as a means of inflating their egos, but this update has been uploaded from an anonymous human author and there wouldn't be much gain in putting this out there unless there was legitimacy behind it.Despite various oddities in the format like repeated paragraphs, the content was useful and carries with it the charm of the original papers from the 1930s.If anyone is interested in discussing this curious update and the urantia movements potential for our ongoing development as a species moving foreward into the future, please find your way to the "Urantian Think Tank" discord channel, also accessible through the Urantia reddit page. :)
Reading another person's take on the Urantia Book is always a thrill but I did not find it at the profound, scholarly accurate language the Revelators maintained throughout the original revelation. I am always open to read anything and allow the spirit within to help me discern what is true by personal experience. I felt this was an attempt to define for themselves concepts they gleaned from the Urantia Book. I have done this assignment myself to own more of the intellectual concepts by putting them in my own words. Many explanations were incongruent with specific definitions already clarified in the Urantia Book. The author gives a fun script of what might have been said in the courtroom during Lucifers trial but it was tv quality dialogue. I would want to see it filmed though. I would recommend this essay to anyone who would like to understand the Urantia Book from the mind of another reader because we need to understand each others perspective so we may more fully love our spirit brothers.
It seems as if “some†of this could be true, but any seriousness that could be contrived from this quickly vanishes as its contradictions with the Urantia book on the concept of evil, as well as many grammatical and spelling errors. Revelation or commentary, this should have been proofread by the “personalities†involved.
As a long time reader of the Urantia Book I read this book in a Kindle edition with great interest. I have no doubt this material is authentic. But the material must be edited. There are hundreds of errors in punctuation, spelling, and duplication of text which must be corrected before this revelatory update can be considered ready for printing.
I know you want to read this book. I also know you are afraid. If this book is real, then it has profound implications. The status quo has been shattered, and it is much easier to pretend it's all a hoax. This makes you uncomfortable, and that discomfort can lead to growth. The thing is, this has happened. A new contact personality has come forward. They released a first edition weeks ago, and promised updates. They just released this new edition, and followed through on releasing another book too called UR Blues. This book doesn't focus on fear, it focuses on wonder, thought, improvement, understanding, and hope. It acknowledges fear, and moves past it. Can you move past your fear for the price of a triple cheeseburger?
I was looking forward to debunking this as a fraud but i can't. It's written with the same intelligent speech we know from the Urantia Book and it does push the narrative forward on several fronts. It would have earned five stars if it had just been longer instead of only 60 pages
